A study in the British Medical Journal states when an individual becomes happy a friend living within a mile receives a 25 percent increase in their own happiness. A co resident spouse receives an 8 percent increase. Siblings living within a mile of each other receive a 14 percent increase and neighbors a 34 percent increase. This is amazing! I believe that anyone who is a happy person, has a positive outlook, and really looks forward to what is coming next in life, is an expert on happiness.
