A plan built around your movement, not a standard protocol
A sports injury, recurring discomfort or difficulty with everyday movement deserves an assessment of your individual situation. Jeremy looks at the mechanical, neuromuscular and functional factors contributing to limitations, then develops a plan of care around your needs and goals.
His clinical approach integrates:
- Hands-on assessment and manual therapy.
- Functional movement analysis and therapeutic exercise.
- Neuromuscular re-education: working on how nerves and muscles coordinate movement.
- Patient education to help you understand your care and participate in recovery.
The plan is individualized rather than a fixed sequence of treatments. The appropriate approach and expected course of care depend on the assessment; results are not guaranteed.
Sports rehabilitation and return to activity
Jeremy's outpatient experience includes common sports injuries, overuse injuries, orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, and persistent or complex pain. Whether your goal is returning to running, lifting, recreational sport or comfortable daily movement, the consultation starts with what is limiting you and what you want to do again.
Physical therapy is distinct from personal training and wellness sessions. A clinical assessment can help identify the appropriate rehabilitation priorities before you progress toward broader athletic performance and recovery goals.
Experience with complex rehabilitation needs
Early in his career, Jeremy worked extensively with individuals living with stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and vestibular disorders. That background shaped his work in movement analysis, balance, coordination, neuromuscular rehabilitation and functional recovery.
After transitioning from hospital-based rehabilitation to outpatient physical therapy in 2009, his practice expanded across orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. His clinical experience also includes movement dysfunction, pelvic girdle dysfunction, visceral dysfunction and temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), which affects the jaw joint and related movement.
If you have a complex history, contact the team before booking to confirm whether the consultation is appropriate for your needs and what existing medical information to bring.
Advanced manual therapy training
In 2016, Jeremy earned Certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) with Honors through the Institute of Physical Art. Manual therapy is a significant part of his approach, integrated with movement assessment, exercise, neuromuscular re-education and education rather than used as a stand-alone promise of relief.
Education and professional teaching
Jeremy earned both degrees at Chapman University:
- Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training, 1998.
- Master of Physical Therapy, 2000.
From 2005 through 2011, he served as a nationwide educator in evidence-based stroke rehabilitation. He later taught human anatomy laboratory courses at Chapman University and served as an adjunct instructor in its Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
He also teaches continuing education in manual therapy for pelvic girdle dysfunction through the Institute of Physical Art. This teaching background complements his clinical work with patients and rehabilitation professionals.

No. Jeremy's clinical background includes everyday mobility, neurological rehabilitation and complex outpatient care as well as sports and orthopedic presentations. Ask about suitability for your specific needs.
